Turn-by-turn directions

From the climbing forest entrance on the Bockmühlenweg follow the path down the valley to the Skiwelt valley station, cross the piste between the valley station of the 4-seater chairlift and the Streugrün drag lift (fast and attentive, skiers and snowboarders cross the path)

past the "Hüttenwirt" and snow pond to the first fork in the path. Turn right and follow the path uphill for approx. 500 m to the fork in Krumme Gasse, now turn left and follow the path uphill to the brewery museum, then towards the Alter Söll (be careful when climbing), then over the Sonnenwirbel and Hauptstraße (stops in cafes or local history and cigar museum) to Alpertplatz, turn right to the Mangelsdorferstraße approx. 150 m and then left towards the city park / exercise course, at the end of the course the path runs to the left through the city park and leads up to the street Am Stadtpark, further towards the youth hostel and below the sports fields to the IFA / tourist information - end

BAB 72 exit Oelsnitz, Bad Elster on the federal road towards Bad Elster behind Oelsnitz turn towards Schöneck, then follow the signs for the ski area
