Elster Pearls Trail – Stage 3

Town hall of Wünschendorf

Start at the town hall in Berga / Elster (220 m above sea level) - then 3 km parallel to the Weißen Elster to the Clodramühle - turn left into the Harnbachgrund - 200 m to the parking lot - turn right there and cross the Harnbach, 1.1 km further on the Clodraleite to the junction Töpferberg (285 m above sea level) - keep right! - On the Clodraleite we reach the following distinctive sections one after the other:

1.8 km the Höllengraben -

1.1 km the Silberblick -

600 m the Lochguttunnel–

800 m the Ziegenberg–

600 m the Bendelgrund -

600 m further the entrance of Wünschendorf with the OT Cronschwitz (240 m above sea level)

- turn half left into the pedestrian path - at the end of the pedestrian path turn left - after 100 m straight ahead

Turn right onto the path to the Wünschendorf cemetery (290 m above sea level) - there turn left –250 m along the connecting road to the Cronschwitz-Veitsberg junction - cross the road - turn right onto the field path and walk 400 m straight to the last house - Turn into the right field path and 700 m over the Veitsberg (270 m above sea level) to the Weidatalweg intersection (WTW) - turn right and 400 m on WTW to the rest area - at the rest area 450 m turn left towards Weidatalgrund - cross Weidaer Straße - Cross the Weida on the Schafbrücke (207 m above sea level), turn right into the access road "Am Weinberg" - after 400 m straight ahead at the pedestrian bridge cross the Weida again right - 50 m straight ahead - cross Weidaer Straße - follow the pavement for 150 m - At the inns "Zur Holzbrücke" go over the street "Am Gessner" and follow the sidewalk to the street junction "Am Veitsberg" - 100 m along the church wall - down the stairs and right down Turn ts and cross Weidaer Straße - on the sidewalk you cross the historic wooden bridge on the left and cross the White Elster - on the pedestrian and cycle path "Gebind" 500 m straight on to Wendenplatz - turn left into Poststraße - only through the pedestrian zone of Poststraße 200 m to the stage destination Rathaus Wünschendorf / Elster.
