Due to its geographical location on the border between Saxony, Thuringia, Bavaria and Bohemia, the Vogtland has always had a special significance in historical events. Today, interested visitors can go on a journey through time and explore the history of the division of Germany and the peaceful revolution in museums, exhibitions, monuments, on the "Green Belt" or during special city tours.
