The architecturally charming, neo-Gothic church is located directly on the church square, across from city hall on the Kirchberg in Bad Elster. It was inaugurated in 1892 and its tower is 54m high.
The church’s interior is harmonious and largely preserved. The two oldest treasures and patron saints of the old church, the apostles Peter and Paul, are on display in the choir room of St. Trinitatis Church.
These two figurines stem from a Gothic winged altarpiece that was carved around 1490 in Hof.
