Almost 110km of cross-country ski tracks plus family-friendly slopes and a large ski resort in Bublava on the Czech side.
The Kammloipe Vogtland/ Erzgebirge is considered to be one of the best in Germany and boasts reliable snowfall. It received an award of excellence from the German Skiing Association (DSV). The Kammloipe starts in Schöneck and passes by Klingenthal-Mühlleithen before ending in Johanngeorgenstadt. You can cross the Bundesstraße 283 via the cross-country ski track bridge at the top of the pass in Mühlleithen.
There are also many local cross-country tracks: the Sonnenloipe, the Schwarzbergloipe and the Mittelbergloipe are particularly popular with families and seniors.
The winter sports centre in Klingenthal/Mühlleithen offers a number of activities for visitors, regardless of whether you are on thin skis or downhill skis.
